Thank you for your patronage of Gershon Bachus Vintners. We appreciate your loyalty when joining the Clique at our small boutique winery.
Our production is smaller than most Temecula Wineries with harvests about 50-60 tons per year with 20 varietals and blends. We have great production techniques using the best of farming practices too. Our vineyard duo Maria Savala and Aidee Estrada take great care in making sure the vines are clean and the tidy. With Dakota Denton as the winemaker and Jeff Giles as his trusted assist, every aspect of growing and production is carefully managed to create the best of wines.
Five years is our minimum prior to release with perhaps a few exceptions when the wine is ready to drink. Our releases are never early, waiting for the wine ready to drink after 10 minutes of opening the bottle. This is not a guessing game for us, this is a policy we never overlook. We taste through the wines at 4 years and keep careful track of when to release them.
As of 2023 we have the following varietals in our coral: Grenache, Zinfandel, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Petit Syrah, Sangiovese, Malbec, Syrah, Tempranillo, Roussanne, and blends of these fine well aged wines. We use Hungarian Oak, Tokay Oak, and French Oak for our barrel aging after the wines have seen time in our concrete tanks. Only the best of yeasts and barrels are used for our precious wines.
Our winery has chosen marketing that appeals to many, but our membership is only open to just over 1100 members. Along with our tasting room educators, Howard Kotliar, Stephanie Worley, Jeff Giles, and Julie Hulse, we show our best to our clientele by walking you through our releases and providing you with information about the wines but also the pairings for those wines. Our “Clique” has the privilege to sample our released wines and they select the wines they wish to purchase while enjoying complementary wine tastings (1 for every 2 bottles purchased) and a discount beginning at 20% off retail based on your annual commitment. With this commitment, our members will be billed based on a trimester beginning in the month that you join. Every 4 months your credit card on file will be billed either $150.00 for a 12-bottle commitment, $300 for a 24-bottle commitment and $450 for a 36-bottle commitment which is a credit on the books towards your wine purchases each trimester. Your membership auto renews in the month that you sign up and your bottle purchases reset. We encourage our membership to taste the wines and visit the winery to get the best impact and benefit. We will ship to our membership with a flat rate of $25.00 plus the reusable box charge of $15.00 so that you can enjoy your wines at home. Your commitment is for a minimum of 12 bottles per year and cancellation is available once you have achieved that minimum purchase. In order to cancel, you will need to email cliquer@gershonbachus.com 30 days prior to your bill date. Your billing schedule is noted on your signup sheet.
